Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026 · Logpom, Petro City, Douala — Cameroon
This policy explains what information Pivora collects, why we collect it, and what happens to it. Plain language, because privacy shouldn't need a lawyer to read.
1. What we collect
- Brief form submissions: your name, WhatsApp number, the category you pick, and the message you write. This goes directly into our private operations spreadsheet via Google's Apps Script — it is not stored on the website itself.
- WhatsApp conversations: messages you send us, kept in the normal WhatsApp history on our business phone.
- Service data: only what a job requires — for example, temporary access to a device for a parental-control setup, or your notes for a study-audio order.
- Basic technical data: our static host may log standard, anonymous request information (like browser type) the way any website does. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers.
2. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever.
- We do not send marketing you didn't ask for.
- We do not keep copies of your photos, notes, documents, or account passwords after a job is done.
- We do not ask for passwords unless the service genuinely requires it — and when we do, we tell you why and encourage you to change them after handover.
3. Device access (parental controls & setups)
Device services are done in your presence, in person, or over a screen-share you control. We access only the settings the job needs, we hand control back on the spot, and we recommend you review the settings together before we leave. For children's devices, the request must come from a parent or legal guardian.
4. Third parties we rely on
- Google (Sheets & Apps Script): stores brief submissions in our private spreadsheet. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta): our main communication channel; messages are stored on our business device and in your chat with us.
- Our static website host: serves the pages; may keep standard anonymous access logs.
We share your information with no one else except where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep things
- Brief submissions: kept while the request is active, then archived for bookkeeping.
- Chat history: kept as normal WhatsApp history on our phone.
- Job materials (notes, files you gave us): deleted once the deliverable is handed over and accepted.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Message us on WhatsApp (+237 687 091 001) and we'll handle it within 48 hours. Lawful bookkeeping records we must keep will be anonymised rather than deleted.
7. Children
Our parental-control service exists to protect children, and we take that seriously. We don't knowingly collect information from children themselves; briefs about a child's device must come from the parent or guardian.
8. Security
Our spreadsheet and business devices are protected by Google account security and device locks. No system is perfect, but we treat your data with the same care we'd want for ours — and breach notifications will always be sent promptly on WhatsApp.
9. Changes to this policy
The current version always lives on this page, with the update date at the top.
